Since 2009, Kendra Boutell has served as Editor-at-Large for California Homes Magazine, utilizing her knowledge of the interior design industry. Her writing and editing career began during the Great Recession. Before the economy's downturn, she worked in sales and marketing for elite San Francisco antique dealers and top "To the Trade" furnishing showrooms. Besides contributing to various other publications, such as Bridge For Design, California Homes-The Essential Guide to Architects, Builders & Designers, Capture Magazine, Nob Hill Gazette, SHLTR™, and Shortlist San Francisco | Napa Valley, she is the Content Director at COUPAR, a design and marketing agency.
